When the summer rolls around after a long and hard season, the transfer fun begins.
It’s the same every year for Celtic, and no different this time. We are only just into July and the Hoops have been extremely busy so far.
Five signings have been made, while five have exited the club. Celtic’s latest signing is Benjamin Nygren from FC Nordsjælland for just £2m.
Greg Taylor is the most recent departure as he sealed a contract with Greek side PAOK after a trophy-laden six years in Glasgow.
Rumours and speculation are constant when it comes to keeping track of Celtic’s transfers – and it’s exactly what former goalkeeper Scott Bain does every day.

Scott Bain keeping track of Celtic’s transfer news
Bain was released by Celtic earlier this summer as the third choice goalkeeper decided it was finally time to step out of a very comfortable position.
Bain went on to sign for Falkirk and is expected to be their new No.1 this season as they compete in the Scottish Premiership after winning the Championship title.
But despite training with the Bairns every day across pre-season, he still has time to check on Celtic’s transfer news via the BBC’s football gossip column.
Speaking to CeltsAreHere, Bain revealed he still can’t get enough of Celtic: “I have a wee read every day on BBC gossip every day to see!”
Bain discusses Nicolas Kuhn’s impending Celtic exit
Nicolas Kuhn is about to seal a €20m switch to Como, and Bain has given his take on the German winger having been his teammate for a year-and-a-half.
Bain said: “It took him a bit of time to gel at first and people say he tailed off at the end, but he was absolutely electric at the start of the season and he put the club in a great position in the league and Champions League with his performances alone.
“He had a fantastic year and it’ll be down to the club whether someone reaches the value the club think he’s worth. There will be a value that Celtic value Nic at and I imagine they’ll sell him if they get that level.
“It’s the model and way Celtic work and it’s worked extremely well for them. They’ll be hoping the same happens with the new signings they’ve brought in this summer as well.”
