Celtic sold their best striker in January.
Kyogo Furuhashi left the Hoops for £10m to Stade Rennais, and some saw it as good business for a player who had just turned 30.
However, the majority of fans were displeased by the timing of the sale and felt they could have held on to the Japanese star until the summer before considering an exit.
Kyogo admitted he wanted a new challenge, but if Celtic persuaded him to stay until the summer, his goals for the rest of the season would have been guaranteed, plus the club would have made the same money on him.

McFadden spot on with Kyogo prediction made in January
That’s because Kyogo ended up moving to Birmingham City last month for a fee of £10m, proving Celtic were hasty in allowing him to leave in January.
Open Goal pundit James McFadden said at the time of Kyogo’s move to France that Celtic should wait until the summer to sell up because they’d still get the same money.
And he has reminded punters on the most recent episode of the podcast that his prediction was spot on.
McFadden said: “By the way, the point I made about Kyogo in January was right. You’ll get the same money for him in the summer, why would you sell him now (January)?
“And look, they would have got their money back on him.”
When will Kyogo make his Birmingham City debut?
Kyogo played 31 minutes against Nottingham Forest in a friendly for Birmingham City last Saturday, with the EFL Championship side winning 1-0.
That was his first game for the Blues, but his competitive debut could arrive on Friday night against Ipswich Town.
Ipswich were relegated from the Premier League last season and will be aiming to bounce back to the top division at the first time of asking.
There’s no guarantee Kyogo starts or even features off the bench, but Celtic fans will surely be watching on with interest.
