Celtic’s Europa League squad has been confirmed for the 2025/26 season.

Brendan Rodgers’ side dropped into Europe’s second tier competition after they were beaten in the play-off round of the Champions League after the Hoops were beaten by Kairat Almaty on penalties.

Games against Feyenoord and Roma await Celtic in the Europa League, with all of the Bhoys’ affected Scottish Premiership games also rescheduled.

Now, as the Europa League gears up to begin, UEFA have listed the 25-man squad that will be available to Rodgers for the next few months.

Kelechi Iheanacho included, but Shin Yamada and Hayato Inamura miss out

There were doubts about whether or not Kelechi Iheanacho would be included in the Celtic 25-man squad for the Europa League.

Iheanacho joined Celtic after Sevilla cancelled his contract to allow the Hoops more time but there was still a race against time to get the deal done as the Europa League registration deadline was 11pm on Wednesday 2 September.

Fellow late arrivals Sebastian Tounekti and Michel-Ange Balikwisha were also included.

While the Nigerian was included, the same can’t be said for Hayato Inamura, Shin Yamada and Callum Osmand, who all missed out.
