Benjamin Nygren is edging ever-closer to becoming a Celtic player this summer.
The Sweden international is causing a lot of excitement amongst the Celtic support after Fabrizio Romano confirmed Nygren had agreed a four-year Parkhead deal.
Nygren has been linked to Celtic for a number of weeks and it’s clear Brendan Rodgers fancies the 23-year-old winger.
And after what UEFA tweeted out this morning, Celtic fans will be looking forward to seeing Nygren strut his stuff at Parkhead.

UEFA pays tribute to Celtic-bound Benjamin Nygren tearing Fenerbahçe apart
Nygren is certainly highly-rated in Denmark. Danish football expert Toke Theilade told 67 Hail Hail that the Swede is a ‘great finisher’ after giving us the rundown on the Celtic-bound winger.
And after what UEFA tweeted out today, he wasn’t half right!
Nygren absolutely tore Fenerbahçe apart scoring a hattrick in 29 Europa Conference League minutes to destroy the Turkish side 6-1 in 2023.
Celtic fans will be hoping that the forward will bring that kind of form to Celtic Park next summer.
When Celtic ‘will’ announce Benjamin Nygren
Although Romano seems to be the all-knowing transfer guru, despite announcing a deal had been agreed last week, there has still been nothing formally announced by Celtic.
However, journalist Roger Hannah reckons he knows when Celtic ‘will’ announce Nygren and said this week, “My understanding is everything’s more or less done.
“He’s coming in on a four year contract and it will be announced possibly after the 1st of July.”
Hopefully he brings those goals against Fenerbahce with him.
