Victor Wanyama made a return to Celtic Park this week to take in his old side in Champions League action.
The powerhouse Kenyan is no stranger to those nights in Glasgow having played a part in some of the club’s biggest European moments.
The big man did, after all, score the opener for the Hoops in their famous 2-1 win over Barcelona in front of a packed out stadium.
This time, however, he was satisfied with sitting in the stands as his old club smashed RB Leipzig to seal their second victory of the League Phase and take one step closer towards a potential knockout playoff.

Wanyama was delighted to be back at his old stomping ground as he caught up with old pals.
The former Celtic midfielder met his ex-captain Scott Brown who had been working in the studio for TNT Sports alongside Neil Lennon and Emma Dodds and the pair even posed for a photo together.
Sharing that snap for his near-400,000 followers and fans on X, Wanyama wanted to share his thanks to the fanbase who also welcomed him home.
He posted: “Celtic Park, thank you for your warm welcome”, accompanied by a four leaf clover and green love heart emojis.

Wanyama had also been asked by the club to take part in the half-time Paradise Windfall draw and he duly obliged.
It was an excellent evening all round for the Scottish Premiership leaders who scudded Leipzig – who are second in the Bundesliga only to Bayern Munich – 3-1.
Celtic’s Nicolas Kuhn was named in UEFA’s Team of the Week for his two goals
Nicolas Kuhn – who would later be branded “no-name German” by the disrespectful local media – put on a starring show as he notched a terrific double before Reo Hatate would seal the win with a tap-in from close range.
The attacker was also named in UEFA’s Team of the Week for the Champions League.
