Celtic are still shopping for a striker to replace Adam Idah.
Idah left the Hoops for Swansea City in a deal worth £7m on transfer deadline day, and it was anticipated that Celtic would sign a forward before the 11pm deadline.
That wasn’t the case, however, and now they are scrambling in the free agent market to secure attacking options.
Kelechi Iheanacho has joined on a one-year deal, but Celtic are also posing an interest in Patrick Bamford and Emmanuel Dennis.
Dennis is the latest rumour with the Nigerian searching for a new home after being released by Nottingham Forest two days before deadline day.
So what could Celtic fans expect from Dennis if he signs? Well, goals is the obvious answer, and he’s bagged four of those against top class opposition over the years.

Dennis scored twice against Real Madrid for Club Brugge
Dennis spent four years with Belgian outfit Club Brugge, and was managed there by former Rangers boss Philippe Clement.
He scored 19 goals across his first 70 matches before going into the 2019/20 season with a chance to impress in the Champions League group stage.
Brugge faced Real Madrid in the Bernabeu and secured a remarkable 2-2 draw against the odds, with Dennis scoring both goals for his side.
Neither are the most aesthetically pleasing finishes, but they ensured Brugge earned a superb point against the most successful European team in history.
Man Utd suffered at the hands of Dennis in 2021
Two years later, Dennis was on the books at Watford in the Premier League and delivered a stunning performance to sink Manchester United.
This was Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s last game as United manager with Dennis hammering in the final nails of the Norwegian’s coffin.
The Celtic target notched two braces to help Watford into a 3-1 lead, before scoring a goal of his own in the final stages of the game at Vicarage Road.
Cristiano Ronaldo played that day and you’d expect that sort of output in one game from him, but it was Dennis who stole the show for the Hornets.
