The members of the Parkhead boardroom aren’t popular amongst the Celtic supporters right now.
Whilst the likes of Michael Nicholson, Chris McKay and Peter Lawwell take most of the heat, there is also the main man at the top.
One man whom the Celtic Park faithful hardly hear from is the majority shareholder, Dermot Desmond, and that will never change.
Desmond is a keen golfer, and he is a regular participant at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
Most recently, Charlie Mulgrew and AP McCoy were watching him play, and the racing legend was keen to bring him up when talking with the former Celtic defender.

AP McCoy and Charlie Mulgrew joke about Dermot Desmond amid Celtic stick
Now that Mulgrew’s playing career is over, and he opted against staying in management after one gig, he is in the punditry world, as well as producing content for his own YouTube channel.
His YouTube channel is called ‘Mulgrew Pitch to Par’, and he interviewed many famous faces across the world at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland.
When Mulgrew mentioned to McCoy that he was ‘watching Desmond tee off’, the former jockey asked if he was one of those joining in and giving Celtic’s majority shareholder ‘abuse.’
Mulgrew: “So, being a player, obviously, I can blame ten other teammates, but I can imagine standing on that tee, that first tee, watching Dermot Desmond tee off.
“I am thinking, ‘as a golfer, 12 handicap.’ You don’t know exactly what you are going to do. Whereas, on a football pitch, you sort of had an idea of what you were going to do. Do you feel that when you step up there?”
McCoy: “You weren’t going to be one of the ones who was going to abuse him? No? Dermot?”
Both laugh, as Mulgrew added: “No, no, no. I just shook his hand and let him go. He is getting enough hassle right now.”
Who does racing legend McCoy support?
McCoy grew up in Northern Ireland and has supported Arsenal as a kid, but Celtic fans will be glad to hear that it doesn’t stop there.
Celtic have a huge Irish following, the man in the dugout, Brendan Rodgers, hails from Northern Ireland, as well as other legendary figures, such as Neil Lennon.
But McCoy also has a lot of love for Celtic, as he proved in a recent talkSPORT interview with Ally McCoist.
“How many sitters did you two miss?” asked McCoy. “You (McCoist) probably missed a few more than him (Alan Brazil), because Celtic would have created a few more chances than his lot. A bit more forward, we are.”
Brazil responded: “That’s good to know he is one of us. He never mentioned Castle Grayskull (a nickname for Ibrox), he mentioned us.”
