Barring the official announcement from Celtic, I think we can all agree that South Korean winger, Yang Hyun-jun will be a Celtic player over the coming days.
Gangwon CEO, Kim Byung-ji confirmed yesterday that Celtic will be paying €2.5m for the 21-year-old and today, Hyun-Jun made his final appearance for the club and said his farewells to the Gangwon fans.
It seems that the winger has been in contact with Celtic striker, Hyeongyu Oh and he revealed the advice that was given to him by the Hoops forward to prepare him for life at the club.

Hyung-jun said [Best Eleven], “We spoke on the phone two days ago. I asked him how life is there. We’ve always been in touch.
“This time, I asked him how his life was and what I wanted to know. He told me that I would never be ignored. He said that if you are strong, your colleagues will recognise you.”
The youngster was then asked if he planned to speak to another former Celtic player, Ki Sung-yeung about his time at the club and he admitted he would have if only he had his number. [translated by Deep L]
Barring any major setbacks, Hyun-jun will be donning the new green and white Hoops next season under Brendan Rodgers.

The Korean will become Celtic’s fourth signing this summer alongside Odin Thaigo Holm, Marco Tilio and the now permanent addition of Tomoki Iwata. He will likely take his place in the squad for the upcoming Japan Tour.
Celtic will undoubtedly look to add more bodies to the squad in the summer window. Kwon Hyeok-kyu also looks set to be named as another new signing especially after Busan’s manager announced today that he is to leave the club.
This summer looks braced to be a busy one as Brendan Rodgers looks to put his stamp on the Celtic team and strengthen in time for the new season ahead and the upcoming Champions League group stages.
