The European season ended with a bang, with Paris Saint-Germain wiping the floor with Inter in the Champions League final.
PSG join Celtic on Europe’s elite list, by becoming first-time winners, as well as beating Inter in the final, just like the Lisbon Lions did in 1967.
Starting from the 2024/25 campaign, UEFA decided to revamp their format, introducing a league phase, with eight separate matches for each team from four pots.
As many witnessed in Munich as Luis Enrique’s all-dominant side scored five, they hugely benefited from this format change.
But so did Brendan Rodgers and his Celtic side, after their campaign ended in Germany’s capital following that heartbreaking late equaliser from Alphonso Davies.
But where do Celtic rank in UEFA’s latest coefficient ratings following the conclusion of the season?

Where do Celtic rank in UEFA’s latest coefficient ratings?
There is no doubt that Celtic made progress in this season’s Champions League; the new format helped, and fans got a taste of knockout football.
But, ultimately, it was another early exit, as well as a failure to win on the road, but the team were only beaten once on home soil to Bayern Munich.
Despite that, Celtic still don’t sit favourably in UEFA’s coefficient ranking after the 2024/25 season, with losing finalists Inter at the top.

As you can imagine, Real Madrid are sitting top of this pile, and there is a reason why they are the kings of Europe.
The top five has two Spanish teams, one German, English and French side, including the recent winners, Paris Saint-Germain.
But Celtic are outside of the top 50 when looking at the rankings over the last ten years, and that shouldn’t be a surprise to supporters.
