Daizen Maeda’s future has been a huge talking point this season.
Maeda revealed that he had requested to leave in the summer but was denied the chance to after Brendan Rodgers couldn’t find a suitable replacement.
The forward has been nowhere near the heights of last season but has looked more like himself in recent weeks since Martin O’Neill returned.
However, the rumour mill has begun again and Maeda could now leave Celtic in January.
It would be a bitter blow to the Hoops, but there is no use sulking and finding a replacement will be the most important.
With that, 67 Hail Hail profiles three options that could come in this summer.
How much would you sell Daizen Maeda for?
Jakob Breum – Go Ahead Eagles
Jakob Breum was a target for Celtic in the summer but they fell well short in the offers they made for the exciting Dutch winger.
Go Ahead Eagles’ chief laughed at Celtic’s offers for Breum, who decided to stay put in the Netherlands.
He is competing in the Europa League, like the Hoops, and is continuing to impress. His stock is rising and could even cost more than the £5m they were quoted earlier in the season.
Breum isn’t a like-for-like replacement, but has the quality to help provide for the likes of Johnny Kenny as well as chip in with goals.
Evan Ferguson – Brighton and Hove Albion (on loan at Roma)
Evan Ferguson is struggling out on loan at Roma and may be given the chance to try his luck elsewhere.
67 Hail Hail understands that Ferguson’s loan could be cancelled, which may open the door to join the Hoops on loan in January.
The Republic of Ireland international was linked with Celtic in the summer before heading to Italy but he would still have plenty to offer if he were to come to Glasgow.

While Kenny may be in form, injuries to Kelechi Iheanacho and Callum Osmand have left them short-changed up top, with Shin Yamada also failing to impress so far.
Sam Surridge – Nashville
Given the links to Wilfried Nancy, it only makes sense to look across the pond and consider the possibility of Sam Surridge.
After spells with AFC Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest, Surridge moved to Nashville and has transformed into a goal machine.
He has scored 25 times this season and his record is only bettered by Lionel Messi and Denis Bouanga.
At 27, he is still in the prime of his career and the chance to return closer to home, as well as play European football may seem appealing.
Given the fact that the MLS season is over, he would be able to come in and make an immediate impact with the Hoops.
