Benjamin Nygren has refused to rule out leaving Celtic this summer.
In his debut campaign, the midfielder was named the club’s Player of the Year for a crucial goalscoring contribution to a double-winning season under Martin O’Neill.
This has led to reported interest in Nygren from Europe’s biggest leagues. Could the 24-year-old be off after just 12 months?
The question was put to him on pre-World Cup duty with Sweden, and he offered no assurances.

He simply replied: “We’ll see what happens.”

He also suffered an injury in the second half of the game, but confirmed that he was taken off as a precautionary measure.
He said: “I passed, then he came in and tackled me so I twisted my ankle. It hurt right then and there.
“We were going to change anyway so we took it safe before it was too late. “You’ve sprained your foot before, so you can still feel the difference. I can walk, move and stand on one leg.
“It felt completely okay. It’s part of the sport. You give some and you get some, that’s it.”
At £1.5 million from Nordsjaelland, the Swede has been a bargain. He has established a starting spot in Graham Potter’s line-up, helping them qualify for the tournament via the Nations League
Nygren dominated the Hoops’ end of season awards, being named Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Top Goalscorer.
His total of 20 goals is eight more than any other Celtic player. He is the first Celtic midfielder to hit that total since Matt O’Riley.
