Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers looks set to add his eighth transfer of the summer this week.
The Celtic manager told Sky Sports just a few hours ago that the Parkhead club were close to announcing their next transfer addition.
After being linked to a number of players this summer, Celtic fans have been growing impatient at the lack of transfer activity.
But it appears that the Hoops support will not have long to wait as Celtic have now ‘agreed’ to bring in their eighth summer signing.

Celtic loan deal ‘agreed’ for Man City’s Jahmai Simpson-Pusey
Celtic have reportedly agreed a deal to bring Man City’s young defender Jahmai Simpson-Pusey to the club.
The Daily Record says that Pep Guardiola has given ‘the green light’ to send Simpson-Pusey to Celtic Park for a year-long loan spell.
Celtic beat off competition from French Ligue 1 outfit Strasbourg and an announcement is expected within the next 24 hours.
It appears that there is no option to buy Simpson-Pusey at the end of the deal and it’s expected he will return to the Premier League.
What Pep Guardiola once said about Celtic target Simpson-Pusey
Pep Guardiola clearly rates the Celtic-bound defender and has already handed him six games for Man City, including two Champions League fixtures last season.
Speaking about the youngster last season, the Man City manager said, “The guy played really good, the young lad again, with this composure and duels and everything was good. It’s not easy for him.
“Normally the young lads, they must come in with support from the team, with Rodri in front of them, right?
“With the best Kyle [Walker], and defenders, and now we support him.
“Now he’s playing in a position that is difficult for him but he performed unbelievable.
“We have a central defender to help us for the future, for the next years. I’m really pleased. Always there is good news when the situation goes bad, and this is one of them.”
