Celtic face a decision on midfield target Elliot Watt as he reportedly pushes for an exit from Motherwell.
Celtic have reportedly made contact with Motherwell over Watt; he is one of several expected to move on from the Steelmen over the coming months.
Callum Slattery has joined Sheffield Wednesday on a free transfer, whilst Stephen Welsh has joined Swansea after his loan. Manager Jens Berthel Askou has departed too, of course.
Watt has interest from Turkey, and his head seems to have been turned.

Elliot Watt ‘pressuring’ Motherwell for Samsunspor move
According to Turkish journalist Resat Can Ozbudak, the midfielder has pressured his club to join Samsunspor.
Motherwell have already rejected multiple bids from Samsunspor for Watt.

No midfielder in the league averaged more passes per game than Watt this season, such was his ability to dictate possession from the ‘number six’ role in Askou’s system.
He plays a similar role to Callum McGregor in the position, but where the Parkhead captain relies on carrying, Watt is more of a passer.
He is, however, a boyhood Rangers fan, with fans recently digging up old tweets of him celebrating wins over Celtic. It didn’t stop Greg Taylor…

Elijah Just’s stellar World Cup form also has piqued the interest of Celtic and many other clubs; he isn’t likely to be cheap.
Motherwell goalkeeper Calum Ward also has reported interest after excelling in a ball-playing sweeper keeper role.

Charlie Mulgrew on Celtic target Elliot Watt
Speaking on The Breakdown show in March, Charlie Mulgrew said: “I see Watt, I think if, Berthel Askou got the Celtic job.
“I think he would probably go for him and Callum McGregor at the base. I think Just could definitely play as well.”
For a 26-year-old, Watt has already racked up the minutes of your average 30-year-old in his career, having been a regular in the English lower leagues as a teenager.
This was his debut season at Fir Park.
