Bojan Miovski is a name Celtic fans will be very familiar with.
The North Macedonian striker was a fantastic player for Aberdeen across two years and his form led to speculation about him joining the Hoops.
That was last summer, but Miovski ended up signing for La Liga outfit Girona in a club record £6.8m sale for Aberdeen.
However, he’s struggled to make any sort of impact in Spain having scored just four goals in 24 appearances across all competitions.
It’s likely Miovski will leave Girona this summer, but it appears Rangers may have a good chance of securing the player on loan.

Miovski has ‘option’ of Rangers loan move
According to Spanish sports reporter Nil Solà on social media platform X, a switch to Rangers is one of the most ‘attractive options’ on the table for Miovski.
Solà wrote: “Bojan Miovski will no longer travel with the team to Villarreal for tomorrow’s match.
“The footballer will stay in Girona to resolve his future. The club has informed him that he must leave no matter what, and as of today, one of the most attractive options is a LOAN to RANGERS.”
Miovski played 45 minutes against Rayo Vallecano last Friday as he was subbed off at half-time. Girona went on to lose the game 3-1 at home.
Celtic could do with Miovski’s quality
Forget Jamie Vardy, a better longer term investment for Celtic in the striking department would be Miovski, who is proven at Scottish Premiership level.
He may not be a Champions League level forward, but he’s a much better option than anyone else Celtic have at the moment.
The Hoops are running out of time and even a loan for the 26-year-old with perhaps the option to buy could be a decent move this late in the window.
Ex-Rangers full-back Richard Foster thinks Miovski would be good enough to play for the Hoops, saying recently on Go Radio: “Watching Miovski in games, his movement is brilliant.
“He senses where the space is. He’s always trying to play on the blind side of defenders. He makes really, really clever runs. He’s quick, he’s a good finisher.
“I like the idea. It’s a bit different. I think he’s clever enough and he’s technically good enough a football player to play for Celtic.”
