Brendan Rodgers is looking to strengthen Celtic in the summer transfer window.
The Celtic manager has plenty of cash at his disposal to add quality to his first-team and with a number of positions needing to be strengthened, the Hoops boss is going to need it.
One position Rodgers and the Celtic fans want to see bolstered is the striker role. Since Kyogo Furuhashi left Parkhead for Rennes, the Hoops boss has been getting by playing Daizen Maeda up front.
However, with Adam Idah and Johnny Kenny in reserve, some Celtic fans are still convinced a quality striker is needed to drive the club forward next season.
And it appears that one striker in La Liga who Rodgers once admitted was ‘a good player’ when he played against Celtic could become available this summer.

Bojan Miovski’s Girona future under threat, Celtic boss Rodgers likes him
Bojan Miovski is a player who was once linked to Celtic before he made his Girona move in the summer of 2024.
The former Aberdeen man starred in the Scottish Cup semi-final 3-3 draw which Celtic eventually won on penalties.
After the match, Celtic boss Rodgers said Miovski was a ‘good player’ but it appears that the North Macedonian striker could be on his way out of Girona after AS reported that the La Liga club are prepared to listen to offers for the 25-year-old.
Miovski was once described as ‘really talented‘ during his Aberdeen days but now that his time at Girona seems to be heading towards an exit, could Celtic take a nibble at him?
Journalist Jan Weidemann also covered the story and took to X and said, “Girona will hold talks with all players, including Miovski, who is not entirely happy with his situation.
“Several Scottish media outlets suggest the possibility of the Macedonian striker returning to the SPFL.”
Bojan Miovski’s scoring record including games against Celtic
Miovski took Scottish football by storm over his three-year stay at Aberdeen and he also had a fair few good games against Celtic.
Here is Miovski’s all-time scoring record so far:
| Scoring record | Played | Goals | Assists | Goals against Celtic |
| Bojan Miovski | 222 | 75 | 29 | 3 in 7 games |
With just four goals in 22 games for Girona, Celtic would need to look at his record whilst at Aberdeen to be convinced in taking a shot at the striker.
In 98 games, Miovski scored 44 goals in a struggling Dons side so it makes sense that he could do a very good job at Celtic, right?
