Celtic are set to face off against Derby County and Millwall for the signature of one in-demand striker.
A new forward is the priority for the Hoops this season following their struggles in front of goal. Only Benjamin Nygren (20) and Daizen Maeda (12) have managed to hit double figures.
After seeing the success of Hearts’ transfer policy, Celtic may think outside of the box for their major summer rebuild, but will have to work hard to sign one player.
You have been given £10m to sign one player for Celtic in the summer transfer window…
Which player are you spending that money on?
Lorent Tolaj is a man in demand after excellent Plymouth Argyle season
Lorent Tolaj is one of the names on Celtic’s radar ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
He has had an excellent season with Plymouth Argyle since joining from Port Vale last year, scoring 21 goals in all competitions and keeping them on the verge of the play-offs.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke has claimed that Derby and Millwall are also contemplating summer moves for the forward.

Lower League gems could be the key for Celtic
As Neil Lennon discovered when signing Gary Hooper, the lower leagues can often throw up some real gems.
It’s a model that has worked for other clubs in the Scottish Premiership and, while Celtic also need Champions League-quality players, bringing in prospects for a minimal fee to sell on for profit is equally as smart.
Tolaj will cost a few million, but that will be nothing in comparison to the likes of Armando Gonzalez, who will easily break the £10m mark.
They’ve missed the boat once before when it came to Ivan Toney, this may be another one they could look back on and regret.
