Celtic need to recruit a number nine desperately this summer.
Despite having options up top, Brendan Rodgers is still lacking a definitive first-choice striker and has already missed out on Mathias Kvistgaarden, who chose to join Norwich City.
Giuseppe Ambrosino has been linked with the Hoops on a loan deal, but Napoli would only prefer an option to buy rather than a permanent transfer
Fans also aren’t convinced by Celtic’s pursuit of Shin Yamada which leaves the opportunity to reignite interest in an old target.
But, Rodgers could face competition from Rangers for the player in question.

Rangers are interested in Bojan Miovski
According to Gol.Mk in his homeland of North Macedonia, Rangers are considering the possibility of signing Bojan Miovski.
Miovski has been linked with Celtic on numerous occasions and the forward has been tipped to return to Scotland after a disappointing season in Spain.
The 26-year-old left Aberdeen for a club record fee in August 2024 but only scored two goals for Girona after previously finding the back of the net 44 times in 98 games for the Dons.
Rodgers is a fan of Miovski and the chance to finally bring the striker to Celtic Park could be now.
Why Bojan Miovski should choose Celtic over Rangers
It goes without saying, but Celtic are a far more attractive move than Rangers is right now.
Sure, both teams have to go through Champions League qualifiers in order to get to the League Phase this season, but the Hoops only have one two-legged tie to navigate.
Additionally, the chance to make it five-in-a-row and extend the Hoops’ dominance as the best side in Scotland.
Rangers are under new management but tensions are still high and a huge period of transition is required.
While Celtic can do with an upgrade in areas of the pitch, Miovski is the man that would improve the Bhoys without question.
