We all remember the farce that was the summer window in which Celtic were knocked back in their attempts to sign David Datro Fofana on loan? Well, things may have changed.

Since the January transfer window opened, those rumours have come back around as the Hoops desperately try to find someone who can lead the line and score the goals they crave.

He isn’t the only player who has been tipped to fill that void in the number nine position, but Chelsea have now recalled Fofana.

Is that because he is being lined up for a loan move to Parkhead, or is he heading somewhere else?

Celtic’s secret attempt to charm Michael Noonan into transfer

Conflicting reports about Michael Noonan’s future have been doing the rounds in the media.

One report stated that Hoffenheim were close to signing whereas another one claimed that Shamrock Rovers were holding firm on their asking price.

The teenager is one of the Republic of Ireland’s best up and coming talents so has got clubs circling around him.

Chelsea are also now said to be snooping around the forward but the Hoops have been one step ahead in winning the race.

Noonan was invited to watch the Glasgow derby earlier this year and the relationship between Rovers and Celtic has always been positive thanks to previous transfer dealings.
