Daizen Maeda set for medical ahead of transfer to Ipswich Town
As expected, Daizen Maeda is heading for the Celtic exit door, and he is closing on a move to newly-promoted Premier League side Ipswich Town.
Anthony Joseph has claimed on social media that Maeda is due at Portman Road ‘in the next 24 hours’ for a medical before completing his ‘£10 million’ transfer.
The Daily Record has also claimed that the champions of Scotland will receive ‘£8 million’ for Maeda’s services, and the extra ‘£2 million’ will depend on whether they survive relegation.
Elijah Just officially joins Swansea City
One man who many Celtic fans wanted to sign was Elijah Just.
Not only did the versatile forward produce an outstanding season in Motherwell colours last season, but he also created history with New Zealand at this summer’s World Cup.
That has now landed Just at Swansea City, who confirmed his transfer on Wednesday evening, with the Glasgow Times claiming that he sealed a ‘£6 million’ switch to Wales.

Will Ferry pops up on Celtic’s transfer radar
Celtic won’t re-sign Marcelo Saracchi to the annoyance of many supporters, and seemingly the man himself.
That has since resulted in several left-backs now being linked with Celtic, including Dundee United’s reliable fullback, Will Ferry.
It has been claimed by The Courier that Celtic scout Tosh McKinlay has watched Ferry ‘several times’, after he supplied nine assists last term.
