Celtic have three hours or so to make their moves.

A striker is still wanted as well as Jeffrey Schlupp at left-back with a loan deal agreed with the Hoops and Crystal Palace.

Brendan Rodgers wants a frontman after Kyogo left for Rennes and it remains to be seen whether or not the club can get it done with loans wanted by the manager.

David Strelec is a Celtic transfer target

Another player of interest to Celtic is Slovan Bratislava’s David Strelec who faced the club at Parkhead in the Champions League earlier this campaign.

And now the Scottish Premiership leaders have been told exactly what it will take for his club to part ways with their attacker.

The 23-year-old has 15 goals in 35 outings this season and has provided six assists and that has triggered interest from around Europe.

Now Slovan’s general director, Ivan KmotrIk, has revealed that only an “offer they cannot refuse” would be enough to land Strelec late on in the deadline.

He told Sport: “Our goal is to keep the squad together and fulfil our objective. That means to defend the title. If Dávid were to leave, it would be a noticeable weakening for us.

“The amount offered would have to be radically high for us to consider his transfer. It has to be an offer that can’t be refused. And we are very far from that.”

It comes amid speculation on social media linking Celtic with Danny Ings of West Ham United but we at 67 Hail Hail confirmed earlier today that it is a deal not happening.

And that has now been confirmed by the fact that the Englishman, 32, is in the Hammers’ matchday squad tonight in the Monday Night Football against Chelsea.
