Celtic are on the hunt for a striker this evening but they will have to act fast.
Kyogo’s transfer exit accelerated the Hoops’ desire for a new frontman but it also left them with little time to nail down a permanent acquisition.
Mathias Kvistgaarden was a target as was Louie Barry while Kelechi Iheanacho was sought out for a loan switch from Sevilla but, ultimately, that fell through with the Nigerian opting to move to Middlesbrough instead.
That all meant Brendan Rodgers admitted loan moves may have to be the case before the window shuts this evening, just as the Hoops did last year with Adam Idah.

Brendan Rodgers says a Celtic loan is likely
Rodgers said: “I would think so, I would think so,” when asked about loans.
“I think that to get the one that we would want for that longer term, if it’s not there, then I don’t want to just bring in anyone just for the sake of it. I’ll always look from within.
“There’s no point in bringing in someone if they’re not the right fit.
“So it might be more down that route, but we’ll wait and see what tomorrow evening brings.”
Rodgers‘ comments had rumours circulating on social media with fans wondering which player the club might swoop for on a short-term basis.
Tammy Abraham was mentioned as an option as Andy Walker claimed a “big name” should be brought to Parkhead.
Danny Ings Celtic transfer link addressed
And Danny Ings has again been mentioned this morning with rumours growing that the West Ham striker is on the Hoops’ wishlist after Evan Ferguson moved to the Hammers on loan.
67 Hail Hail, however, can reveal that Celtic have not approached West Ham about Ings, 32, who has just the one goal from 15 outings in all competitions this term.
Ings has been prolific in the Premier League over the years but has been reduced to a bit-part player in recent years at London Stadium.
That means the search continues into the final few hours of the window.
