Celtic’s need for a striker has never been greater ever since Kyogo Furuhashi and Adam Idah left the club.
It’s almost been a full year since Kyogo left Celtic and, as yet, the Parkhead club have still not replaced him properly.
Shin Yamada and Johnny Kenny are the only two real options as Martin O’Neill is forced to use Daizen Maeda in the striker role.
However, it seems that a striker Andy Walker was keen on Celtic signing last January is on the move after Fabrizio Romano’s latest transfer update.

Former Celtic target Tammy Abraham set for Aston Villa move
Back in 2017, The Scottish Sun said Celtic were after former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.
Brendan Rodgers wanted the youngster for a season-long loan move to bolster his Invincibles Treble Celtic winners.
Instead, Abraham opted to sign for Swansea City and eventually moved to Roma on a permanent deal.
And now, it looks like he’s on his way back to the English Premier League as Romano said on X, “Tammy Abraham has opened doors to Aston Villa move as personal terms are not an issue.
“Villa, working on new striker after Malen left to join AS Roma — no agreement or deal done yet with Besiktas.”
Why Celtic could never get Tammy Abraham now
First off, his wages are astronomical. Despite not being a prolific goalscorer, Capology have Roma paying the former England international an incredible £125,000 per week.
At 28, Abraham has had a bit of a journeyman career but has still scored 186 goals in 459 career appearances.
It is worth noting that at his current loan club Besiktas, he has scored 12 goals in 24 appearances as the Turkish club also vie for his signature.
