Celtic could still add that elusive striker Brendan Rodgers wants even though the transfer window has closed.
After Celtic added Sebastian Tounekti on transfer deadline day, Brendan Rodgers completed just one signing on the final day of the window.
After talks with Denmark striker Kasper Dolberg joining Celtic broke down late on yesterday, the Parkhead club were left scrambling, looking for that elusive forward.
However, it appears that all may not be lost as talks are scheduled for Celtic to resume talks with an international striker Brendan Rodgers wanted back in February.

When Celtic are set to resume talks with Kelechi Iheanacho
Celtic need a new striker. Every Hoops supporter knew that heading into transfer deadline day.
It appears that Celtic spoke to Kelechi Iheanacho late last night but, as yet, no deal has been agreed.
The Nigerian international striker saw his contract with La Liga side Sevilla terminated and is now a free agent.
And journalist Luca Bendoni has revealed when Celtic will resume talks with the former Leicester City man.
Bendoni said on X, “Celtic expected to advance on Kelechi Iheanacho deal on Tuesday after his contract termination with Sevilla.”
As Bendoni mentions in his tweet, this has also been backed up by Sky Sports’ Anthony Joseph who also said, “UPDATE: Celtic will continue talks with free agent Kelechi Iheanacho tomorrow.
“His Sevilla contract was terminated so he’s free to talk to clubs directly. Celtic have concluded their deadline day business with the signing of Hammarby winger Sebastian Tounekti.”
