Andy Robertson’s future is yet to be decided.

The Liverpool left-back said his goodbyes to Anfield on Sunday, and by all intents and purposes, it felt like the man linked with Celtic would join Tottenham Hotspur.

That was aided by the fact that Spurs survived relegation from the Premier League, with suggestions that Robertson would make that move as soon as that was confirmed.

But on Monday evening, Fabrizio Romano dropped the news that Robertson might not be Celtic or London-bound this summer, because Juventus have entered the fight for his signature.

Name Celtic’s best and worst player this season…🤔🤨🍀

Juventus ‘trying to hijack’ move for Andy Robertson

It does seem as though the previous noise around Robertson possibly joining Celtic is starting to die down.

On the one hand, it’s a shame, because it would be great to see another boyhood Celtic fan return to the club and put on the famous green and white colours.

But on the other hand, it’s understandable, because Celtic have Kieran Tierney, and Marcelo Saracchi could sign permanently.

Either way, Robertson, who is a free transfer in July, could be Italy-bound, because Juventus are ‘trying to hijack’ Tottenham’s move for the left-back, according to Romano.

‘Tottenham have been in advanced talks for weeks with Andy Robertson over a free transfer, deal close,’ shared Romano on social media.

‘Juventus have also entered the race and are trying to hijack the move with a proposal. Decision up to Robertson now.’
