Jeffrey Schlupp may have only spent a brief period at Parkhead, but like so many who pass through the doors at Celtic, he made sure to walk away with a winner’s medal.
Celtic signed Schlupp during the winter, as Brendan Rodgers was pushing for the Treble and potentially upsetting Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Oh, what good times they were for Celtic supporters!
Having not been offered a contract extension by Celtic, Schlupp initially made the switch to Norwich City on a free transfer – but he is already searching for his next club, as Norwich confirmed on their official website.

Jeffrey Schlupp’s struggles continue after Celtic exit
It’s amazing to think that Schlupp was playing against Bayern Munich in the Champions League last season, and now he isn’t deemed good enough for a mid-table side in England’s second tier.
Interestingly enough, the man in charge at Carrow Road now is Philippe Clement.
After Clement was dealt blow after blow by Celtic, booted out of Ibrox as the Hoops won the double last season, he is now going strong in the colours of Norwich.
The Canaries, who were sitting in the relegation zone when he first joined, have narrowly missed out on a top-six finish, as Schlupp has hardly featured, with injuries playing their part.

Celtic should have kept Alex Valle
Just as Schlupp arrived at Celtic in January, then left-back Alex Valle, on loan from Barcelona, was, for some odd reason, allowed to depart for Cesc Fabregas’ Como in Serie A.
The decision was baffling at the time, but it is utterly head-scratching now as Valle helps propel the Italian side towards possible Champions League qualification.
While Celtic ultimately landed on their feet with two very strong left-back options in Kieran Tierney and Marcelo Saracchi, that silver lining shouldn’t mask yet another woeful, under-the-radar blunder by the recruitment team.
