Celtic have been linked with a number of players since the transfer window opened in June.
Not a day has passed where Celtic have not been linked to a player but it seems that one rumour has particularly irked the Hoops support.
Celtic’s link to Jahmai Simpson-Pusey has excited Man City fans but the same cannot be said of the Parkhead support.
With many fans waiting for a few big money signings, Celtic supporters have not reacted well to being linked with a player who will not strengthen the Hoops first-team squad.

Celtic fans are not having links to Man City youngster Jahmai Simpson-Pusey
Celtic fans want a first-team ready player who will immediately improve Brendan Rodgers’ squad.
And in Simpson-Pusey, all they see is another temporary project signing.
@livie67 was unhappy and believes Rodgers is being ‘shafted’, “If this doesn’t tell you the board won’t back Brendan Rodgers then nothing will. Lawwell has shafted him yet again.”
@themadmonk14 was furious at the rumour and said, “Absolutely ridiculous move if true. Developing other clubs players is idiotic and there is NO chance of permanent move. Clear evidence Celtic have no recruitment strategy at all.”
When told there may not be an option to buy Simpson-Pusey, @OE_67 said, “My thoughts exactly. Would feel so bad for Brendan Rodgers if it isn’t because then it’s clearly not someone he wants yet again.”
What Brendan Rodgers said on strengthening Celtic this summer makes Simpson-Pusey rumour look strange
Brendan Rodgers has been clear where he sees the need to strengthen Celtic this summer.
The Celtic boss was crystal clear after the Como Cup defeat to Ajax last week.
Rodgers said at the time, “We still have some work to do. I think the players that we have in the building have been very, very good in this pre-season so far.
“But like I say, we still have work to do in the market. I think it’s very clear where our gaps are – in our front line, where we need support.
“I’m very confident that we’ll be able to do that before the market finishes.”
It’s little wonder Celtic fans think Rodgers is leaving the club if a defender is being looked at before an area of the team the manager has specifically said requires strengthening.
