Celtic target Cho Gue-sung has spoken publicly about his immediate future amid concrete interest from Ange Postecoglou’s side.
Speculation about the South Korean has been rife over the past month, as Postecoglou plots to bring another striker to the club.

And now we have some comments from the forward, courtesy of Korean outlet Yonhap News Agency.
Cho says: “I’ve seen a lot of articles but I haven’t heard anything all that specific myself.
“I’ve been speaking with my agent, our technical director Park Ji-sung, and head coach Kim Sang-sik about whether it’s better for me to leave now or in the summer.”
“Honestly, any player would want to pounce on a good opportunity to leave right away if it’s there.
“If I don’t leave now, maybe the teams that want to sign me will change their mind in the summer. My stock may drop or I may lose my form.”
These comments seem like yet more encouraging news for Celtic, with the player seemingly keen to grasp the right opportunity should it arise. We would surely fall in to that category.

Over the past few days, the news has been increasingly positive.
Yesterday, we told you how German side Mainz could be priced out of a deal. Now it seems like Celtic are increasingly confident of landing their man.
Cho could achieve a lot between now and the end of the season. He could miss out on up to three Scottish trophies if he decides to wait until the summer.
Surely that’s as good a reason as any to put pen to paper now.
In other news, a derisory offer for Giorgos Giakoumakis has been reported in France
