Celtic are on the hunt for a winger, but an update on one target may spell bad news for the Bhoys.
With Nicolas Kuhn heading to Como, a new right winger is a priority on Celtic’s shopping list and Isak Jansson is one of the names linked with the Bhoys.
Rapid Vienna confirmed that Jansson was training by himself and that the Swedish winger is believed to be valued around £10m.
With Celtic stepping up their interest in Jansson, the Austrian club’s latest statement seems to suggest that he is on his way out.

Isak Jansson leaves Rapid Vienna’s pre-season camp
Vienna confirmed in a statement on Wednesday that the 23-year-old would leave their pre-season training camp to begin talks with an overseas club.
A statement on Rapid’s official club website read: “In consultation with SK Rapid’s sporting management, Isak Jansson has left SK Rapid’s summer training camp in Freistadt, Upper Austria, early. The Swedish winger was given permission to leave for talks with a club abroad interested in signing him.
This means that the 23-year-old Scandinavian will no longer be seen at the public training scheduled for this Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. in Freistadt.
Celtic look set to miss out on Isak Jansson
Unfortunately for the Hoops, it seems that their ideal Kuhn replacement isn’t going to be heading to Glasgow.
Sky Sports Austria have revealed that the reason why Jansson has left the camp is to finalise a deal to join Ligue 1 outfit Nice.
A club-record sale has been agreed by Rapid and he is now travelling to the south of France to undergo a medical.
Michel-Ange Balikwisha remains a target for Celtic and now it seems that full focus will be on bringing him through the door instead.
