Liel Abada

In recent times, Liel Abada has been the subject of significant speculation concerning his future at Celtic and new information has shed further light on the Israel international’s situation.

According to a transfer report from The Daily Mail’s Stephen McGowan, the 22-year-old is believed to be a loan target for West Bromwich Albion, Southampton and Watford.

The outlet claim that clubs in Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga are also keen to secure his services as the January window nears its conclusion.

Rocco Vata

As it stands, Rocco Vata is free to negotiate a pre-contract with foreign clubs as his deal enters its final stretch.

Bologna, Como and Sampdoria have all expressed desires to offer the 18-year-old an alternative career development path and in turn become the latest casualty from the Hoops’ academy set-up.

Despite this, Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph has now taken to social media platform X to report that talks over renewing his stay in Glasgow have commenced and Vata is ‘keen on staying’ if a pathway to first-team football arises.

Matt O’Riley

Sky Sports indicated earlier today that Celtic received a bid from Atletico Madrid for star man Matt O’Riley, which would take the form of an initial loan with an obligation for the La Liga outfit to buy him outright in the summer.

Rodgers’ men are said to be in a ‘strong position’ to negotiate and the 23-year-old signed a new four-year deal back in September, meaning he is under contract in Glasgow until 2027.

Now, a follow-up on the situation has been communicated by The Scottish Sun, claiming that the Hoops are ready to reject the proposal.

Bojan Miovski

Peter Grant was asked about Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski possibly donning the Celtic colours and he stated that he has been ‘really impressed’ by him this season, as he told Go Radio.

Despite Aberdeen’s struggles in the Scottish Premiership, the 24-year-old has still managed to score nine goals from 18 matches, including 16 in all competitions.

And Grant was pretty clear that Miovski has the skillset to step up at a team like Celtic and score goals.

Mikey Johnston

Mikey Johnston has re-emerged as a Celtic player this season after a period in the wilderness, registering two goals and two assists in 11 appearances across all competitions.

Nevertheless, Hoops manager Rodgers has called for the Republic of Ireland international to show a higher level of ‘robustness’ if he wants to remain at Parkhead long-term despite his clear raw talent.

Daily Mail journalist Stephen McGowan has now indicated that the 24-year-old has interest from elsewhere, namely West Bromwich Albion, who are believed to be exploring a swoop for the winger before the transfer deadline.

Caoimhin Kelleher

Celtic have now been handed a reality check amid their supposed interest in Liverpool backup goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher.

The Hoops were first mentioned alongside Kelleher in a September report which stated the club had made a transfer enquiry to Liverpool concerning the stopper in the summer.

But the Hoops are more than likely to be priced out of both a potential permanent and loan deal, which is the view of former Liverpool and Celtic star Gary Gillespie.
