A fair bit is going on at Celtic with the 2025 summer transfer window in full swing.
As expected, Celtic have been busy this summer, with four new signings through the door and several players leaving.
Nicolas Kuhn is a talking point, because it looks like his stay in Glasgow could be over, including a possible transfer to Cesc Fabregas’ Como in Italy.
But Kuhn hasn’t left yet, unlike the much-talked-about defender Maik Nawrocki, who is the latest Celtic player to leave after struggling to earn regular minutes under Brendan Rodgers.

Nicolas Kuhn reacts to Maik Nawrocki leaving Celtic and joining Hannover 96
All season long, Celtic fans have wondered why Nawrocki doesn’t play more, even after beating Hearts and keeping a clean sheet, he is out of the XI the following week.
What is interesting is that when Nawrocki reacted to his loan move to the Bundesliga 2 side Hannover 96 on Instagram, he was lauded in the comments section by Kuhn.
It speaks volumes that one of his teammates views him highly, yet, with Celtic needing defensive options, he isn’t being used, and instead, is being loaned out.
- Kuhn wrote: ‘What a player. 🫶’
- Ben Siegrist: ‘All the best, Rocky. 😍🙌🏽’
What has Nawrocki said after leaving Celtic?
It’s time for Nawrocki to earn some regular minutes and show everybody what he is about because there is some serious quality there.
The Polish star joined Celtic during the summer of 2023 – at the same time Rodgers arrived – and he has only played 18 games during that period, so it would have been extremely frustrating.
Speaking to Hannover 96’s official website, Nawrocki is delighted with the move and is now ready to try and push his new side towards promotion.
“I’m incredibly happy to be here and now part of the team,” said Nawrocki.
“I think we have an exciting journey ahead of us with many new players and a new coach. We want to attack the coming season with renewed energy. Now it’s time for me to quickly settle into training, the team, and the club.”
