Adam Idah had some journey at Celtic, even if it was short-lived.
Yes, things didn’t end well for Idah at Celtic, leaving after the team missed out on Champions League football in August, and with negative noise around him.
But one thing many can’t deny is the moments Idah produced in the famous green and white colours.
Now that Idah is at Swansea City, where life hasn’t exactly exploded into life, he is showcasing the same traits he produced in Glasgow with the Welsh club.

Celtic title winner Adam Idah is a big-game player after Swansea City beat Wrexham
Idah loves a derby goal, and he has now added Swansea City vs Wrexham to his list, and that in the last minute.
Wrexham are being funded by Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Their rise from non-league to England’s second-tier has been Hollywood-worthy.
But Idah wrote his own Hollywood script on Friday night by coming off the bench and scoring a stoppage-time winner for Swansea against Wrexham.
Speaking on Sky Sports Football (19/12/25), Curtis Davies rightfully applauded Idah for his derby-winning goal.
The former Premier League defender hit the nail on the head when he stated that Idah has a ‘knack’ of scoring late derby winners because nothing will top Celtic’s Scottish Cup final win over Rangers in 2024.
“Adam Idah, he just has a knack for being there,” said Davies. “Especially 90-minute late goals. He is always there.
“Listen, if that’s my second touch and I can come off the pitch with a game-winner in a Welsh derby. I am totally delighted to come off the bench and score the goal.”
