Just sometimes, the absolutely obvious is staring you in the face.

That’s the case with Wilfried Nancy at Celtic after his nightmare start in the green and white colours got much worse following a fourth consecutive defeat.

Celtic were beaten by Dundee United on Wednesday night to pile more pressure on the recently-appointed manager, and when the away supporters turn on you, then you are in deep, deep trouble.

Yes, Nancy has only been in the job for a short period of time, but going by the chants from the away end at Tannadice, it’s pretty clear that it’s only a matter of time before he is gone.

How many more games are you going to give Wilfried Nancy?

At first, the Martin O’Neill chants…

Just after Dundee United scored their second goal on 61 minutes, you could hear the ‘Martin O’Neill’ chants from the away fans.

It was loud and clear from the away support, as well as continuous, and it’s obvious what fans want given this abject Nancy spell so far.

To think that Celtic had won every domestic game during O’Neill’s uplifting stewardship, yet now it has all come crashing down in such an abject style, is quite baffling.

What would your message be to Wilfried Nancy?

And then the anti-Nancy chants…

Sometimes, you just wonder if Nancy realises the mess he is in, and how he is still lucky to be in a job on Thursday morning.

Moments after Celtic supporters chanted for O’Neill, they then turned their attention to Nancy by belting out ‘Nancy get tae f__k’, on repeat.

It’s further proof that Nancy’s time is up at Celtic, when you start losing the away supporters, then you might as well start packing your bags.
