All eyes will be on Celtic’s Scottish Cup final against Jimmy Thelin’s Aberdeen on May 24.

That’s the main event for Brendan Rodgers’ side before the season draws to a close, as the two will have a warm-up ten days before.

Celtic travel to Pittodrie on May 14 for their Premiership encounter, but then everything will be on the Hoops’ push for a Treble.

The champions of Scotland thrashed St Johnstone on their way to the final, with those in green and white packing out their end at Hampden.

But the same can’t be said for Aberdeen, on their way to beating Hearts, but they have now sold out their allocation for the final.

Aberdeen sell out ticket allocation for Scottish Cup final against Celtic

Celtic are yet to release ticket information for the cup final, but Aberdeen themselves have not only released them but sold out their allocation.

It is expected that over 20,000 Dons fans will be at the other end, as they try to stop Celtic from winning the Treble.

This is what Aberdeen posted on their official social media account regarding their ‘sold out’ tickets.

‘Never in doubt’ 👊 Our (underwritten) allocation for the Scottish Cup Final has SOLD OUT in just a few hours 🔴’

Aberdeen fans against Hearts for Scottish Cup semi-final

For one reason or another, there were a lot of empty seats at Hampden for Aberdeen’s semi-final clash against Hearts.

Around 13,000 Aberdeen fans travelled to Scotland’s home for such a showpiece event, with many empty seats evident from their end, as posted by Scottish Football Away Days.

You suspect that, when Celtic’s tickets are released that they, at least, should get a split, especially given that they can sell out the whole of Hampden over and over again.

But it will be interesting to see what type of Aberdeen team turns up after they were taken to extra time by nine-man Hearts.
