Now that Celtic have tied up their first summer signing of the new season, Brendan Rodgers still has decisions to make on other players at the club.

It is well-known that the likes of Gustaf Lagerbielke and Benjamin Siegrist are likely to be moved on this summer.

Rodgers has already also made his stance clear on Celtic youngster, Daniel Kelly, as his contract issues rumble on.

So there is still plenty for Rodgers to be dealing with as he takes his team out to the States for their pre-season tour of the USA.

However, it seems that the Celtic boss is set to make a decision on another Celtic youngster after he made an impression in the two friendlies against Ayr United and Queen’s Park last month.

Dane Murray could be set for summer loan switch from Celtic

According to the Daily Record, Celtic youngster, Dane Murray, could be set to be farmed out on loan this summer.

The 21-year-old has made a good recovery from a serious injury and enjoyed two run-outs for the first team in this summer’s pre-season preparations.

The report says that Rodgers could send him on loan to Admira Wacker where the club have an agreement arranged with the Austrian club to send out youth players for first-team experience.

Celtic have exercised that agreement in the past when young Celtic duo, Tobi Oluwayemi, and left-back Matthew Anderson spent a season at the second-tier Bundesliga side.

Rodgers clearly rates Murray and has him earmarked as one for the future after handing him a two-year deal at the end of last season.

At 21 and with his injury problems behind him, now is the time for the Celtic youngster to kick on and realise his potential after being handed his first-team debut in a Champions League qualifier by Ange Postecoglou in 2021.
