Another enjoyable weekend for Celtic fans.
On Saturday, Celtic saw off Raith Rovers in the Scottish Cup by entertaining the Parkhead faithful and netting five goals, including a Daizen Maeda hat-trick.
Then, those in Celtic colours sat back and watched Rangers suffer a shock defeat to Queen’s Park in the Scottish Cup on Sunday, as Philippe Clement showcased his worth again.
It wasn’t so long ago that Rangers were seemingly back in the title race after beating the champions 3-0 on their home patch.
But, everyone knew then that it was a blip and Brendan Rodgers’ side would resume normal service, as well as those across the road.
Fast forward to the present and that’s exactly what has happened.

The gap has never been bigger in Glasgow, even if the likes of Graeme Souness like to state otherwise.

Celtic’s road to the Treble continues, as they will have to do without beating Rangers in the final of the Scottish Cup, but in truth, that has already happened.
That late Adam Idah winner last season was a moment many fans will remember, including that penalty shootout victory in the League Cup final in December.
