Celtic have been keeping tabs on a number of targets over the transfer window.
It’s been a busy summer for the Hoops, who have signed eight players so far.
Their last addition was defender Jahmai Simpson-Pusey on loan from Manchester City and now the full focus is on getting attackers into the side.
A striker is one of the targets on the shopping list and someone who fits that bill has been left out of his side’s starting XI for their next game.

Louis Munteanu left out of Cluj starting XI vs Botosani
Louis Munteanu has been linked with Celtic over the summer but news of a move has cooled of late.
The Romania international scored 25 goals last season but there was a sense of surprise after Munteanu decided not to play against Braga due to an ongoing pay dispute.
If people thought that was a one-off, they were wrong as Munteanu was once again left out of the side for their Romanian Superliga clash against Botosani.
He did come on as a second half substitute but didn’t get on the scoresheet as the two teams played out a thrilling 3-3 draw.
Cluj president mocked over Louis Munteanu price tag
Reports suggested that Cluj president Nelu Varga thought he could get close to £18m for Munteanu after Celtic had a £6.9m bid rejected.
Lille and Rennes were also interested in the forward but Giovanni Becali has warned Varga that he will receive a much lower fee than what he was expecting.
He said: “Nelutu is my best friend, but he has a few of these… You can give 5-6 million for Baiaram. Tell me when Louis Munteanu will ever show his activity again, that he still has 12-14 years to play, 20 goals in some league.”
