Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers was keen to add more quality to his squad knowing that a big Champions League tie with Bayern Munich is less than two weeks away.
The German giants are flying in the Bundesliga six points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen with league form similar to that of Celtic.
