Nicholas Kuhn left Celtic for Como just over a week ago.
The German winger finally made his Celtic exit after weeks of speculation suggested that Kuhn wanted to leave Glasgow this summer.
Celtic banked a tidy profit from the transfer and Kuhn will now ply his trade in the Serie A with a club who is unlikely to win silverware any time soon.
However, in a strange turn of events, Kuhn will now face Celtic in the Como Cup as Brendan Rodgers continues his pre-season preparations.
And it appears that lining up against his old Celtic teammates is not going to face the former RB Leipzig man.

Most players would be nervous at facing their old club with so little time passed between transfer moves.
But not Kuhn. The German winger admits he’s really looking forward to lining up against his old Celtic teammates.
Kuhn told The Herald, “I’ll definitely play against one of my former teams because we will play either Celtic or Ajax.
“If we could play against Celtic, I would be really excited to face all my teammates from last season.
“I can’t wait to play in the tournament.
“My beginnings at Como have gone really well. I like the Italian atmosphere and the team is fantastic, everyone is helping me settle in and I’m really happy to be here.
“The training centre is fantastic, the quality is high, and so far everything has been perfect.
“I think we have a lot of very good players in the squad.”

Como paid Celtic £16.5m for a player who cost just £3m 18 short months ago.
Whilst Celtic fans made their feelings clear about the transfer, there is no doubt that Kuhn’s sparkling form in the first-half of last season convinced the Serie A club to shell out the best part of £20m for the winger.

Kuhn is likely to face Kieran Tierney in Como and fans will be hoping the Hoops fullback will put the shackles on the sulking attacker.
