Celtic confirmed their fifth summer transfer exit of the summer on Tuesday.
Greg Taylor finally closed the door on his six-year chapter with Celtic after the left-back declined to sign a contract extension.
Brendan Rodgers wanted Taylor to stay and compete with Kieran Tierney, but the former Celtic ace has joined PAOK instead.
PAOK unveiled Taylor across their social platforms and website, accompanied by a Scottish-themed announcement video.
Jeffrey Schlupp and David Turnbull have wished Taylor well, while his wife Laura posted her own tribute to Taylor on Instagram.
But Luke McCowan’s message could be the most heartfelt yet.

McCowan’s emotional message to old Celtic pal Taylor
McCowan and Taylor formed a strong friendship at Celtic ever since the midfielder joined the Bhoys from Dundee in August last year.
So it’s understandable that McCowan was feeling a tad emotional when it was confirmed Taylor was exiting the Glasgow giants.
McCowan posted on his Instagram story after watching Taylor’s Celtic farewell video: “Re-watching this for the 100th time…I’m not crying 🥲🥲🥲. What a player and an even better mate 💚 PA postcodes 💔”.
Why Taylor wanted to leave Celtic
Taylor gave an interview to PAOK TV after he signed for the Greek side and mentioned that he wanted a new chapter for him and his family.
Moreover, he was sold on the PAOK project by the club’s hierarchy and wants to win the Greek top-flight title as part of PAOK’s 100th anniversary celebrations.
He said: “It’s obviously a new chapter for me and my family but I’m very excited to be here now.
“The love I was shown from the club, many of the directors, the manager, they showed that they believed in me and were very excited for me to come to the project with such a historical season, the 100 years of the club.
“We want to be the best team in Greece. We want to win the league and hopefully be successful in Europe. That would be our aim for this season.”
