Jota is in line to make his Celtic re-debut this weekend.
The Portuguese winger arrived back at the Hoops after 18 months away and two transfers later.
It was clear Brendan Rodgers wanted at least one wide player and the minute Jota became available it was a no-brainer considering the financial implications.

Jota’s arrival coincided with Luis Palma’s exit as the Honduran opted to make a six-month loan switch to Olympiacos in Greece.
There is also a £3.3million future fee purchase option on the deal should it be one that works for both parties this season.

Palma had other options in MLS as well as in Spain with Rayo Vallecano but it’s with the Greek giants he will ply his trade for the rest of the campaign.
That means Palma’s number was up for grabs and it is an iconic one for the back of any player’s jersey.
So it was no surprise that the famous Celtic No.7 shirt was handed to Jota to begin his journey for a second time at Parkhead.
Of course, the number will always be synonymous at Celtic with the King of Kings, Henrik Larsson, but other players have worn it down the years.
