It’s all systems go at Celtic this weekend as the transfer window heats up.
There looks to be one in, one out with Jota on the way back to the club while Kyogo is in Rennes ready to complete his £10million exit.
More signings are expected at Parkhead with Brendan Rodgers confident of adding a striker to replace the Japanese hitman.
Meanwhile Celts might want two wide players so that would see Jota and one more arrive.
There are plenty of moving parts for the club who may not have Dundee to worry about tomorrow afternoon after a statement was released suggesting the Celtic game is in jeopardy due to Storm Eowyn.
Nicolas Kuhn applauded outgoing Celtic star Kyogo
The poor weather has already delayed Jota’s flight to Glasgow which will hold back Kyogo‘s move but it is a near-done deal and his current teammates are already paying tribute.
Attacker Nicolas Kuhn has been vital for the the Hoops this season with his goals and assists and it is Kyogo he has teed up more often than not.
That has helped establish a working relationship between the pair and it is one the German international hopeful will miss.
“Kyogo was important for us and we need quality players,” Kuhn said in a chat as transcribed by The Celtic Way.
“Competition is always good and you need people to push you and I think we’ve had that already throughout the whole season.”

Kuhn was also asked about Jota‘s imminent arrival and he admitted he was looking forward to playing alongside our superstar from Portugal.
For Kuhn it is less about selfishness or viewing it as a rival player coming to take his spot and more about vying for places in Rodgers‘ starting XI.
Healthy competition, he says, is vital to breed success.
He added: “I knew Jota was here before. I didn’t see too many games of his.
“We want to do something to strengthen the squad in this period as we have a lot of games to go and I am happy that someone is coming in.”
