It’s that time of year again, no, not the hugely disliked international break, but Celtic having to seemingly fear Rangers again.
Year in and year out, Celtic dominate in Scotland, the trophies speak for themselves, whether it’s Ronny Deila in the dugout or Brendan Rodgers’ second spell.
It’s like it’s all on repeat, but the man in the Celtic Park dugout puts Rangers to the sword and it’s no different this season.
Yes, Rangers have deserved their recent Glasgow derby wins and the champions-elect have to sort themselves out because the performances have been woeful.
But it seems as though Barry Ferguson’s interim job has resulted in some Rangers pundits suffering from the Graeme Souness level of deludedness.

Celtic told what is being said about the gap to Rangers is false
Even with Rangers winning two games against Celtic this season, they are still 13 points behind and a goal difference that’s on a different planet.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 1 | 30 | 24 | 3 | 3 | 89 | 20 | 69 | 75 | |
| 2 | 30 | 19 | 5 | 6 | 62 | 28 | 34 | 62 | |
| 3 | 30 | 11 | 11 | 8 | 45 | 41 | 4 | 44 | |
| 4 | 30 | 12 | 7 | 11 | 38 | 46 | -8 | 43 |
On top of that, they are going to watch Celtic win the Treble, yet Craig Moore feels that the gap ‘isn’t as big as people think’, as he told Go Radio.
It’s happening again, Rangers turn up at the end of the season when Celtic are just about to collect all the trophies and then they are told how it’s only going to take very little to turn this dominance around.
“I don’t think, and I think I have said this a couple of times on the radio here, is that Celtic have been unbelievable in everybody’s eyes,” said Moore “Rangers have been really, really poor in everyone’s eyes.
“I don’t think the gap is as big as people think. I don’t think you need £30, 40 or 50 million to close the gap. It doesn’t happen like that.
“Three or four starting players that could come into Rangers’ team. Even, for example, the result they got against Celtic. You bring three or four new players that make a real difference, the gap isn’t that big trust me.”
Celtic’s trophy dominance in numbers
Even if you look over Rodgers’ two spells only, he has won trophy after trophy, including the League Cup final at Hampden in December.
Overall, that was trophy number 119 in Celtic’s history and it makes them Scotland’s most decorated and successful club.
The issue for Rangers is that Rodgers was nowhere near his best last season, yet he won the double and now the Treble is about to arrive, yet everyone at Celtic needs to be told about those from Ibrox coming again!
The more these Rangers pundits embarrass themselves, the more trophies arrive for those in green and white for Rodgers to shut them up.
