It’s never a quiet day at Celtic at the moment.
Wilfried Nancy has lost his fourth game in four with a 2-0 defeat to Dundee United at Tannadice, leading to widespread calls for his sacking.
It would be by far the most quickfire sacking in Celtic history, but given just how much has gone wrong in such a short space of time, not a massive surprise.
Peter Martin reported on Thursday that Nancy was in talks to leave, causing a furore on social media.
But reports from elsewhere in the Scottish media are now pouring cold water on the talk of a rapid exit.

Radio silence from Celtic’s social channels seemed to indicate that Nancy could well be on his way.
But pictures soon emerged of the Frenchman taking training as usual.

And the Daily Record now report that Celtic sources are ‘adamant’ that there are no discussions taking place over a potential exit.
Nancy remains in post for now, then.
An exit would’ve been a U-turn from the club, after Michael Nicholson publicly backed the Frenchman just hours before the Dundee United game.
Martin O’Neill confirmed that he would’ve stayed on in the role earlier this week, in his first appearance on talkSPORT since his interim spell.
Logic certainly says that he would’ve been the first port of call if Nancy were to go – essentially a press of the reset button by the club’s hierarchy.
Shaun Maloney has returned to his role as Player Pathways Manager and is still attending matches, whilst Stephen McManus is back with the B team.
And Mark Fotheringham would love to come back if his interviews in the last few weeks are anything to go by.
But Martin’s report has now been contradicted, so you can hold back on expecting an announcement for now.
