MLS expert Steven Caldwell has sent Celtic fans a message about potential incoming manager Wilfried Nancy.
Nancy is widely expected to join Celtic in the coming week as it emerged that the Parkhead club took a big step to securing Brendan Rodgers’ heir.
Celtic will pay Columbus Crew £2m for Nancy if the deal goes through and it seems the club’s fans are devastated at the news.
However, Columbus Crew fans’ Nancy devastation is Celtic supporters’ delight, at least that’s the message MLS expert Steven Caldwell is sending this week.

Celtic fans must prepare for Wilfried Nancy’s ‘total-football’
Not since the days of Ange Postecoglou have Celtic fans seen dynamic and attacking football.
Well, it appears that this is about to return, should Nancy come to Celtic this week.
Caldwell told the Daily Record, “He’s impressive. A good football guy. He’s a student of the game. He’s dead focused on tactics and patterns of play. He’s a sort of total-football kind of guy.
“He’s had great success in MLS. Winning the MLS Cup is huge. Basically that’s winning the league.
“To do it with a team like Columbus, even though they had good players, was quite an achievement.
“Before that, his Montreal team had a lot of Canadian internationals like Alistair Johnston. They had some great success.
“He’s certainly one of the best, if not the best coach in MLS. And he has been for two or three years.”
What people in the USA are saying about Nancy and Celtic
Clearly, the MLS love Nancy and believe that he is a top coach. His style of play will certainly appeal to Celtic supporters.
And when he was reporting on the possible move to Celtic, journalist Michael Gannon shares what people in America are saying about the 48-year-old coach.
Gannon said, ““Make no mistake, it’s still a major gamble making the Columbus Crew head coach the no.1 target and the man who looks set to take charge.
“He is a relative rookie and this is a time when the Hoops have needed every minute of Martin O’Neill’s 73-years of experience on this earth to steady the ship and keep the wolves from the door.
“But, when speaking to folk Stateside, it’s clear Nancy is no mug. Far from it.”
