Ange Postecoglou’s sacking at Tottenham caused a bit of a stir.
Spurs won the Europa League, yet they saw it fitting to sack the Celtic hero from his job, even though he had many admirers, including Tennis star Nick Kyrgios.
There are similarities between Postecoglou and Kyrgios, because the duo have Greek and Australian blood and have made it to the top of the game in their respective sports.
Postecoglou won numerous titles at Celtic, as well as trophy success in Japan and Australia, and that cherry on top of the cake at Spurs.
Whilst Kyrgios has had an interesting career, regarded as one of the most naturally gifted tennis players, the main Grand Slam prize still eludes him.
Kyrgios used to follow Spurs because of Postecoglou, but not anymore.

Nick Kyrgios told to support Celtic, as he snubs Tottenham for Arsenal
Celtic have a huge following across the world, and some famous names backing and repping Scotland’s most successful club.
But when Kyrgios shared that he might ‘jump on the Arsenal bandwagon’, because Spurs decided to sack Postecoglou, he was told to back Celtic instead.
Celtic-mad Alan Brazil urged him to follow the champions of Scotland, and he agreed to do so, as he told talkSPORT.
On whether he can still support Tottenham given their treatment of Ange: “Half of the reason why I do like Tottenham is because of Ange,” said Kyrgios.
“I am not sure. I think I might have to jump on the Arsenal bandwagon now.”
Alan Brazil then interrupted: “No, no. You go Celtic instead. Ange had a tremendous time at Celtic. Glasgow. Never mind your Boston Celtics, it’s Glasgow Celtic.”
Kyrgios responded: “Okay, Glasgow Celtic, then I will go for them. I played a lot of FIFA in my time, so I am not sure my supporting cast to Tottenham really meant much, but I will jump on the Arsenal bandwagon (too).”
