Brendan Rodgers is still looking to add his second signing of the transfer window at Celtic.
After securing Jota’s return to the Bhoys last week from Rennes, Celtic manager Rodgers will be keen to add more quality to his team before the 11pm deadline.
Celtic fans are also keen to see new additions after seeing Kyogo Furuhashi leave the Hoops and a number of first-team players make their Parkhead exit as Rodgers trims the squad.
However, the Glasgow giants could make a transfer no-brainer and spend £2.1m on a player Celtic icon Frank McAvennie labelled as ‘world-class’ to end the transfer window with a bang.

Celtic could secure Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney on transfer deadline day
Kieran Tierney is a player who has long been linked with a return to Parkhead. Celtic confirmed the pre-contract signing of the Arsenal defender last week but, in truth, Rodgers could get him before the window slams shut tonight.
According to Spotrac, Tierney is on £110,00 per week at the Premier League club. Contracted to the end of June, the Scotland defender is due to pick up around £2.1m from the London club.
However, Celtic could effectively buy out the remainder of Tierney’s contract if they made the offer to Arsenal ahead of the deadline passing tonight.
What Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has said about signing Kieran Tierney in January
Brendan Rodgers had a great relationship with Tierney during his first spell last the Celtic boss as he turned a young prospect into a £25m defender.
Speaking about Tierney’s Celtic return in the summer, Rodgers said, “Ideally it would (happen in January) but he’s still at this moment an Arsenal player.
“I think everyone is agreed that will definitely take place in the summer. If we can do it beforehand, then great.”
