Celtic are in the market for a striker and want a big-name addition that could take them to the next level.
Adam Idah led the line in the second half of the season after Kyogo Furuhashi left for Rennes in January and work is already being done to get new faces in up top.
Fulham youngster Callum Osmand seems destined to join the Hoops and Benjamin Nygren also looks set for Celtic Park.
Brendan Rodgers won’t hold there and 67 Hail Hail were told that Evan Ferguson to Celtic could be ‘one to keep an eye on’.
But there’s another striker in the Premier League who could be available and if he were to join, it would be a real statement of intent.

Celtic should explore Dominic Calvert-Lewin transfer
Like Ferguson is at Brighton & Hove Albion, Dominic Calvert-Lewin is facing an uncertain future at Everton.
Technically speaking, the England international is a free agent but the Toffees confirmed that they were in talks with the forward about a new deal.
There have been no suggestions to say if he will stay or go but if it is to be the latter, it’s something that Celtic should be all over.
Not only does he have experience in the most competitive league in the world, he has been a proven goalscorer over the years and would be an upgrade on the options already available.
| Career appearances | Career goals |

Still only 28, Calvert-Lewin has time on his side and would also get the added benefit of the chance to play Champions League football – something he hasn’t done while with Everton.
When the likes of Gianluigi Buffon have endorsed European nights at Parkhead, that’s an easy sell to any player.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is rated by one of the best managers of all time
There aren’t many managers greater than Carlo Ancelotti when it comes to identifying a talent.
Having managed big-hitters like Vinicius Jr and Cristiano Ronaldo in his career, Ancelotti also had a spell taking Calvert-Lewin under his wing while in charge of Everton.
It coincided with the forward’s best goal scoring season and in 2020, the legendary manager called him a “complete striker”.
“It is not easy to find a striker with these characteristics,” said the Italian.
“He has a lot of energy, is really fast. I am really pleased he is doing well and scoring goals because at the end a striker is judged on the goals he scores.”
