In true Celtic board fashion, the club took the opportunity to promote another money-making venture as it promoted its partnership with EA Sports.
Celtic’s partnership with the gaming giant started in 2022 as EA Sports included Celtic Park in their gaming series for the first time ever.
Whilst we understand that there are contractual needs probably being met here, this is the first time the club have used a gimmick in what is probably the most important game in Nancy’s Celtic career.
It’s such a poorly timed tweet when Celtic fans are in deep disarray with the board, as many become disillusioned with the team being weakened while the board simultaneously release constant merchandising campaigns.
Celtic’s partnership with EA Sports explained
Celtic’s partnership with EA Sports was designed to promote the club globally through the popular football simulation franchise.
While it is not known how long the deal has left to run, Celtic are now in with over 300 clubs when the franchise was called FIFA.
Now rebranded as FC26, Celtic will continue to be exposed to the global gaming market for fans worldwide.
