Everyone is quick to praise the standout players in a season, but there are some who have gone under the radar.
Daizen Maeda swept up at the awards night for Celtic and rightfully earned his flowers.
There was also plenty of praise for the likes of Cameron Carter-Vickers and Callum McGregor, who remained as reliable as ever at Celtic Park over the course of the year.
However, some of Brendan Rodgers’ side were equally as impressive but maybe haven’t received as much praise as other established members of the squad.
So, with that, 67 Hail Hail takes a look at three names who have been under-appreciated this year.

Greg Taylor
Greg Taylor is a name that has divided Celtic fans over the years.
Despite many calling for an upgrade, Taylor has kept his place in the side at left-back and overall, has played very well this season.

Taylor’s performance against Kilmarnock was a particular highlight and even though Kieran Tierney will return to the club, Rodgers wants to keep Taylor.
The 27-year-old is out of contract, with PAOK one of the many clubs after Taylor and time will tell if he does sign a new deal, but if he is to go, he deserves plaudits for his professionalism.
Luke McCowan
Signed for £1m, Luke McCowan has proved to be a bargain buy for Celtic this season.
McCowan is living every Celtic fan’s dream and has a domestic double to show for it.
His contribution to the side has been impressive too – despite Rodgers largely using him as an impact sub.
Seven goals from 41 appearances is no mean feat for a midfielder and although he is well-liked among supporters, McCowan deserves all the praise in the world for his first year at Parkhead.
Viljami Sinisalo
Being brought in as a back-up goalkeeper is never easy as you don’t know when you’ll be given your chance, but Viljami Sinisalo seized his opportunity with both hands.
An injury to Kasper Schmeichel saw Sinisalo deputise in his absence and he did very well, keeping four clean sheets in eight games.
Sinisalo sadly didn’t get a league winners’ medal after failing to meet the threshold for the number of appearances he needed to make in the Scottish Premiership to qualify.
There’s hopes that the Finland international can be a future number one and it seems he has proved he’s up to the task, which included a Glasgow derby against Rangers.
