Brighton approach Celtic about a deal for Evan Ferguson
According to TeamTalk, Brighton have approached Celtic about a possible deal for the young striker after his loan deal at Roma appears to have failed.
The 21-year-old forward has made 14 appearances for the Serie A club and has scored just one goal. Averaging just over 39 minutes per game, Ferguson is struggling for game time and it apppears that his future at Brighton is over.
Celtic tried to sign Ferguson on loan in the summer, but it appears that the Seagulls are looking to offload the Irishman on a permanent basis.
Wilfried Nancy will be looking to add more firepower in the January transfer window and Ferguson may well be a viable option for the Parkhead club.

Ferguson is a Celtic fan and that could sway the youngster into making the switch to Glasgow.

However, it appears that the Glasgow giants face competition for the stiker.
TeamTalk also claims that Everton and Leicester City have been also been asked if they want Ferguson alongside a ‘whole host of clubs’ as Brighton look to broker a January deal.
